WRITER
Jenna St. John is a half-Korean, half-American screenwriter born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. The daughter of a Korean mom and a military dad who both passed away young, she grew up with plenty to unpack. For years she did it through ballet until an injury led her to screenwriting.
Her feature scripts have placed in the Page Awards, Austin Film Festival, Cinequest and more. She has written a Korean-American Rom-Com for Hallmark/Crown Media, a produced YA adventure for Epic Pictures, and is currently under a two-picture YA horror deal with Scary Content, with the first slated to film in 2026.
Jenna writes female-driven YA genre stories from comedy, horror, to fantasy, always aiming for humor, heart, and authenticity. She lives in Pasadena with her husband, who works in VFX on some pretty cool shows, and their two young kids, where her home life is equal parts comedy, horror, and fantasy.
