Dan Lauria, born in Brooklyn, New York, is an American actor, writer, director, and producer best known for his role as Jack Arnold, the stern yet loving father, on the ABC television series The Wonder Years, which aired from 1988 to 1993. He has had a long-standing career in film, television, and theatre, appearing in over seventy episodic television programs and more than twenty 'Movie Of The Week' productions, along with numerous motion picture and stage credits.
