WRITER
Richard Vetere is an award-winning playwright, novelist, and screenwriter. His adaptation of his stage play Caravaggio won the Golden Palm Award for Best Screenplay at the Beverly Hills International Film Festival (2021). He also wrote the teleplay The Marriage Fool, starring Walter Matthau and Carol Burnett, now streaming on Amazon, and co-wrote The Third Miracle, directed by Agnieszka Holland and produced by Francis Ford Coppola.

His novels include The White Envelope, I, Human, The Writers Afterlife, and Champagne & Cocaine, with She’s Not There releasing in 2023. His memoir Live Fast, Die Young & Leave a Good-Lookin’ Corpse and his play ZagÅ‚ada (premiered at Ensemble Stage) further showcase his range, alongside his poetry collection The Other Colors in the Snowstorm. On screen, he appears in The Great American Heist (Fox Nation) and Third Week.
